Former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite has teamed up with McDonalds to help launch its Free Fruit Fridays campaign, which intends to encourage children to eat and enjoy five a day by offering free fruit on the first Friday of every month.

Mum of two Outhwaite commented 'I often worry that my kids don't get their five a day and it can be hard to think up ways to make fruit and veg tasty and fun... Now, Free Fruit Fridays will give parents like me another way to make choosing five a day a fun and appealing option when we're eating out'.
